The things that are going on are...
Everything is going good. Tim started on his new project a while ago. He is working with a Neurosurgeon and a neurologist from Yakima. They are opening a private practice to get out of the clinic they are in now. The timing was perfect for them and for us. Tim had been home a ton. What a change that has been from a few months ago. Some days he doesn't even leave the house. He is able to work from home online or on the phone. The kids are LOVING that. I am taking advantage of it as well by going to the store by myself sometimes. Running, a little and helping out at the kids schools. The new neuro clinic should open the first or second week of May. Things will get a little more busy and that gets closer. We( Tim and I) feel like a weight has lifted from our shoulders and our prayers have been answered.
I am heading to Utah with the kids on Wed (24th) for spring break. I am a little nervous about the drive (on my own) but I always get that way.
Lauren is getting anxious for her birthday and then for her Baptism. Our new church building is getting held up because some street lights need to be installed before the city will let us use the building(really???street lights, It is very lame)The building is done except for the organ being taken into the chapel from the hallway. The building was supposed to be done on May 1st, Lauren's baptism day, but it may get postponed if the light issues don't get resolved. The baptism day is still up in the air. That is troublesome for family who wants to come into town.
I just love spring. I love blossoming trees and warm sun on my face. My favorite time of year for sure.

Food Storage Nerd
On Friday I bought a shelf from Costco. The fancy strong kind. On Saturday we invited the Elders from our ward to come over and help us assemble it and reorganize our food storage. The table the food had been sitting on had all but totally collapsed. The only thing holding it up was a few cans of diced tomatoes on top of 5 gallon buckets. It went quickly and I was so happy with the outcome I wanted to do a major happy dance. I love,LOVE, the feeling of getting organized. When you step back and look at your work and breath out a sigh of relief. I peek out into the garage just to have a look and this thing of beauty! Now,,,, I need a bigger garage and another shelf...or two!!!

Update
The Stringham's (my sister and her husband) had their first baby, sweet Alivia Abigail born on Feb 16 at 11:47 a.m. 7 lbs 2 oz. Amazing for being 8 days over due. I wish we could have spent more time with them. What a cutie!

Kids played

I was able to snuggle this nugget for about a half an hour before we had to head home. She is only about 1 hour old in this picture! Happy face then a very sad face for me.

Tim turned 34 on Feb 11th. We played and had cake decorated by Lauren.

Landon turned 5 on Feb 7th. We made a fun cake for him that he really loved.

So the story is... we were able to spend so much time in Utah because Tim was laid off from his job at the end of Jan. However we were thrilled because he was planning on quitting anyway to start a new project with some Doctors here in Yakima. This way were able to get severance. We had been praying for a change for several months and I guess we got just what we asked for. We are all healthy and happy and excited for this new project to start. (it has already started). It will be so nice to have a little more time to spend together as a family and a lot more flexibility for vacations and things like that. We are all excited and feel relieved. So in the meantime Tim has been home quite a bit. The kids LOVE that! We had a great time in Utah and we love spending time with our awesome family. Nothing beats the constant spilling of inside jokes and laughing until you cry. Can't wait until spring and playing outside more. Hooray for us!! And Hooray for Stringham's!!!
