Other Fun at Bear Lake

These are random pictures from playing at Bear Lake.

Snowmobiling at THE BEAR LAKE

Tim and Matt and Grandpa rented snowmobiles at Bear Lake. Good thing there was enough snow. The kids had a great time riding and being pulled. It was very very cold.

These pictures are not the greatest but oh well. The only days we all look decent around here is Sunday. Tim has bishopric on Sunday mornings at 6a.m. Then we had tithing settelment arefter church at 1:15. It was a long day. Babers is just falling asleep and I think we will all hit the hay here any minute. We are heading to Utah in 5 days. It is soooo cold here. The wind is blowing so hard. We can feel the little drafty chill coming in the nooks and cranies. If it was snowing it would be a total blizzard. Today the high was 18. Tomorrow the high is 15 and the low is -1. Yuck. I can't waith to sit in front of a warm fire at mom's house on Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas to everyone.

MORGAN'S BABY BLESSING

We blessed sweet Morgan today. She cried the whole time. We had 2 of our friends from the ward here in the circle and the old and new bishops. It was pretty weird to have no family here or get together afterwards. It seemed pretty uneventful. The blessing dress has now been warn by all the grand-daughters. Lauren, Kaylin, and Morgan. Maybe it will be a tradition. Anyway, we are less then 2 weeks from coming to Utah. Fun Fun Fun.

These are random pictures from the last little while. We went to Portland OR. To see Tim's step sister and stepfather. The Columbia River George is so beautiful. Tim has a new baby that lives in the garage. And Lauren loves her little sister.

Mish Mosh from the past few days.

A few pictures taken over the past couple of days.

Kissed by an Angel

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I wanted to post a couple of pictures I took yesterday. Morgan was kissed by and angel before she was born. She has a hemangioma across the bottom of her back. It almost looks like a red tattoo or like someone kissed her while wearing red lipstick. It is quite symetrical. The Dr's said it will probably "puff up a little" or swell and then start to go away, but it may take several years. It is totally harmless but so interesting. She is still a sweet sweet baby. One of these day I hope to put a new family picture on here but the chance of us all being decent looking together at the same time is slim to none. We will see. We are traveling to Portland OR/Vancouver WA this weekend to see some friends and attend Tim's step-sister's baby's blessing. I will take lots of pics to post next week. Miss you all and love you.

Here are some pictures of Morgan. I have found that she is not very photogenic. The pictures do not do her justice. (mom's say that, I guess) She is such a sweet baby. She is on a pretty good schedule. She naps 3 good long naps a day and goes to bed around 10p.m then wakes up around 2:30-3:30, then back to bed until 6:30-7. I am functioning like a mostly normal person again. I am LOVING not being pregnant and the thought of doing it again makes me blahhhhhh. I usually really really want to nap by about 1 but it all depends on how the day is going. I have noticed that the time goes by so much quicker now with new baby. Laundry is never ending and this tiny tiny house is full of mish mosh. I have run out of space to put things away. Actually there is no "away" it's just piles and shiftings now. Tim and I have really enjoyed our time here in WA but with each passing day we are anxious for a change. Our primary program is this Sunday and it will be nice to get that out of the way. It is hard to get back into the swing of things after several weeks away. I am so excited to come to Utah for Christmas. My head is already churning about the logistics of the trip. (mom's do that, I guess). A long trip and new baby, with baby supplies, some Christmas presents, hidden, winter/snow clothes. It all makes a big car small really fast. Well that is all for now because baby just fell asleep, Landon is asleep and I too shall go to sleep before Lauren gets home from school.

Lauren's Sweet Stuff

Lauren has been doing the sweetest things lately.

The picture on the botttom she drew during church on Sunday. Then the one on the top she did during school. Her pictures are becoming very detailed. She has been such a wonderful help with Morgan. She is so compassionate and concerned with the well being of others. She hates when others are hurt or sad. Anyway I just thought it would be fun to show this cute stuff.

Halloween!! (of course)

We had a very fun Halloween. It was so fun to have Nags and Whit and Matt and Kaylin here to play with us. It was so sad to take them to the airport. We visited Tim at work so the kids could Trick-or-treat at the hospital. Then we went to the airport in Pacso to drop off our visitors. Later that night we went to the ward house for the Trunk-or treat. A much safer option around these neck of the woods. There was a carnival and light dinner. The kids had lots of fun. I am so glad that it is over!! Thanks for the awesome costumes grandma. If it weren't for you my kiddies would have been wrapped in toilet paper and gone as mummies.

Sweet new baby!

Finally she is here! Morgan Ally Reed popped out at 10:30 p.m on Thursday Oct. 16th 2008. She weighed 8lbs. 6oz. and was 19 1/2 inches longer. The delivery was great (as great as they can be once the epidural kicked in) and she is healthy and is going to be a real eater. It is such a relief to no longer be pregnant. Horray!

Help is on the way!!!!!!!!

I went to the Dr this morning. I am dialated to a 4 and have lots of contractions but she is just not ready to come yet, I guess. So, I have a Dr appt Thur morning. If I do not have this baby before then I will get induced. I love planned things!! The 16 is a nice day for a birthday. Although I am having a good contraction right now so maybe the 14th is a good day too. My parents are leaving SLC tomorrow to drive up here. Then next week Whit and Nags and maybe Matt are coming. It will all be so fun. It is wierd to know that by Thur night I will be holding my new baby. I will post again soon.

NOT YET!!! Someone help me!!!

Ok, so I feel asleep yesterday (for a nap) and when I got up.... no contractions. They had been 10 min apart for 2 hours. COME ON!!! So I am not at the hospital yet. I have a DR appt tomorrow morning. So we shall see. Could this belly get any bigger. I think no. I will update again later.

Quick note

This is just a quick note to say that I am debating on wether to go to the hospital or not. I have been having pretty regular contractions since about 7:30 this morning. I would rather wait at home then go in and have them say it's false or go home you woose. I am thinking it is real but we will see. If I don't post again for 2-3 days you will know that I am actually in the hospital. I have been tricked by these contractions 3 times before so I don't know what to think. Soon we will see. P.S. Maybe I won't be as chubby tomorrow.

SOON!

I am just putting in a quick update. I can barely walk today. I think I have razor blades inserted in various places in my body. I don't know if I am in labor or not because I don't know what that feels like. The other 2 kids were induced so it's like going through this for the first time again. I have a Dr appt tomorrow morning. I don't know if I will make it that long. I did think I was in labor yesterday after the Dr treated me really really bad, but everything tapered off after 10 or 12 hours. Now today I am having more contractions but they are pretty mild. I guess it's the timing that matters and not the intensity. Who the heck knows. I will update again soon.

Sunday, October 5, 2008

Ok then!!! People are saying I need to update my blog. I am just not in the mood and I will show you why. (view picture) Today (Sunday the 5th) I am having oodles of contractions. They are not hard enough nor consistant but this can not last much longer. My belly is just to big and beautiful. I think that this is the week. If I am still pregnant next Sunday, so help me can I borrow a knitting hook. But anyway, things really are going great. Lauren and Landon are both in gymnastics. This week will be Landon's first week and I am so excited to see him do it. Lauren is also playing soccer and she is some kind of fireball. She is playing on a team of 6-8 year olds and she is by far tiny compared to the others but is not once bit scared. She will take anyone one. (Is anyone surprised by that??) It has been so fun watching them loving the things they get to do. I am such a soccer/gym mom now. I was surprised to hear this week at the DR that this baby, who is still nameless, is weighing almost 8 lbs. She will be my biggest yet. Hopefully I remain intact in the delivery. So that's about it then. Tim's work is going well but to busy for my liking. I am excited to have family visiting after this darn chubby baby comes out. We miss everyone and sometimes hope that you all have a really crappy time at Bear Lake so that we don't feel as sad about not being there.:-) Don't worry about the insane number of stretch marks, I will never, never wear a 2 piece again in my life.

Abby and Tim on the Cliffs lookout in Anacortes WA. I hate looking at pictures of myself because I am looking so pudgy these days. But I only have 6 weeks left.

Landon and Mom at Dead Man's bay.

Heading to Friday Harbor on San Juan.

We went to the San Juan Islands for Labor Day and had an awesome time. We hiked and saw killer whales and saw some amazing homes and yachts and historical locations. The kids had such a great time exploring everything. We found all sorts of sea critters. We have always wanted to go on this trip and we planed it late friday night and it was great. I am so glad we went.

I decided to put a pic of my fat self on here just for kicks. I am really excited that by next summer I will be tubing and wake boarding/ surfing with the rest of Ya'll. Hopefully I will be about 50 Lbs lighter.

We spent almost 6 weeks in Utah. We had more fun then we should have because now that we are home it seems pretty boring. School is starting in 2 weeks. Lauren will be in first grade. Landon will be really sad but by mid October will have another buddy to play with. Sort of.. She might not be to fun at the beginning. Lou and Buddy got a lot of practice with thier first cousin on mom's side. Baby Kaylin born July 1. We are all getting pretty excited for our own baby but it still seems surreal also. Does anyone have a good idea for a name for baby girl?
